Charles Mitchell obtained an MA in Law at St John’s College Oxford and following his articles at Bond Pearce in Plymouth, qualified as a Solicitor in July 1978.  Following four years in Devon as a litigation and property lawyer, Charles worked in-house for two commercial businesses obtaining experience in property and finance law including consumer credit and banking. During this period Charles was a Member of the Finance & Leasing Association Legal Committee and of its Examination Board. 

In 1995 Charles joined his wife Karen in private practice as Mitchell & Mitchell in Farnham Common where they built up a successful general law and property partnership, which merged with Charles Coleman & Co in July 2002.  Charles continues to handle both residential and commercial conveyancing, company law and offers advice on Inheritance Tax planning and Wills.

When time allows from looking after his four children Charles enjoys listening to music, playing tennis and amateur radio (callsign GOSKA!)
